Ms. Sherman serves as a Market Regulation Supervisor for The INS Companies. She coordinates the market analysis for multiple state insurance departments.  In addition, Ms. Sherman also assists with special projects/examinations. 

Ms. Sherman has been involved in various aspects of insurance regulation including training software applications, testing the software applications and rolling out new software to state insurance regulators. She participated on the state and federal regulatory team to develop initial market analysis process and continues to remain active in this field.

Prior to joining The INS Companies, she worked for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) as an independent consultant designing, facilitating and implementing the Market Analysis Techniques classroom and online courses. Ms. Sherman also previously worked for the NAIC as a Market Analyst within NAIC's Market Regulation Division and for the Information Technology Department as a Supervisor of the Quality Assurance Department. While in that role, she worked with state regulators and other officials on market regulatory issues. Key duties in the position included performing market analysis on nationally significant insurance companies, identifying market trends, supporting many of the market regulation working groups and facilitating training for state regulators and industry professionals.

Ms. Sherman is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a B.S. in marketing and advertising.  She is currently a member of the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society (IRES). She holds the following industry designations: Market Conduct Management (MCM) and Advanced Market Conduct Management (AMCM). She also has extensive experience teaching on a variety of regulatory topics, insurance software applications and has considerable technical software testing knowledge. She is a former past President of IRES and the recipient of multiple achievement awards from both the NAIC and IRES.
